Divebomb is a "Red Baron" repaint of ROTF Ransack. Although the real Red Baron plane was a tri-plane and not a bi-plane (and it had German insignias vs. Decepticon), it's still nostalgic looking enough to warrant a purchase. For a more detailed review of the mold, please read Ransack's Review.

Divebomb's mold is 100% the same as Ransack's; the only difference is the color pallet. The first thing I noticed was that Divebomb looked a lot cheaper (less detailed) when compared to Ransack. Ransack not only had a different color scheme, his colors had more depth and shading. Divebomb's colors are flat and dull. In fact, he's comprised of just red, black & gray plastic with some white & a touch of silver paint.

Divebomb's colors suit the plane mode a lot better than his robot mode. He's extremely bland looking in bot form. He's almost all red and it's hard to distinguish between his various body parts. He looks soooo bad as a robot that it's best to leave him in plane mode. The only reason why anyone should get Divebomb would be his color homage to the Red Baron. I'm knocking more than one rating off this toy and giving it a 7/10 (Good).
